NICOLE LEUNG — SOPRANO
Praised for “her natural warmth matched equally by innate lyricism” (Opera Canada) and “glittering brilliance with her soaring top notes,” (Opera Canada), Canadian soprano Nicole Leung most recently concluded her residency as an Emerging Artist with Opera on the Avalon for the 24/25 season. This season, she also made debuts with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Toronto City Opera, and was a laureate of Les Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques. This August, Nicole will be performing as soprano soloist with Edmonton Opera in its Opera Al Fresco Concert. She looks forward to singing Soprano in The House with Ammolite Opera in Rocking Horse Winner. Nicole is an alumna of the McPhee Artist Development Program at Calgary Opera, the Banff Centre, and Festival Napa Valley. She holds degrees from New England Conservatory of Music (BM) and The Yale School of Music (MM, MMA).
